Hi, I'm a computer noob - recently attempted to build my first computer.

When I turn on my computer, only one of the two case fans spins, my cpu and graphics card lights up but my CPU fan doesn't spin.

After about 5-10 seconds both the lights (graphic card, cpu ) turns off. Then the lights for both back on again.

In the meantime, my one case fan (connected to the motherboard) spins continuously, so I assume there is sufficient power coming from the PSU.

What areas should I check? Or what is the best way to fix this? any suggestions are welcomed!!!

My Specs:

- XFX RX-570P8DFD6 Radeon RX 570 RS XXX Edition
-AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 8-Core, 16-Thread
  • EVGA 600 BQ, 80+ Bronze 600W, Semi Modular
  • ASRock ATX Motherboard (B450 PRO4)
-NZXT H510 Compact Atx Mid-Tower PC Gaming Case,
-Samsung 970 EVO Plus 500GB NVMe M.2 Internal SSD
- Corsair LPX 32GB DRAM 3000MHz C15 Memory Kit for DDR4 Systems

None of this sounds right. I'm just praying you haven't fried anything at this point.

Turn off everything and unplug it. Read every single manual and understand the principles behind them and what they are telling you to do. Follow them precisely. If you don't understand, take your components to a computer store and have them assemble it. If you make a major mistake in assembly you literally will destroy the components and will need to buy new ones!
