Hi,
Currently I have been this problem once this in a while. Whenever I one
click, it does what double clicking do. It doesn't happen always, but it
happens once in a while. Somebody told me its a bug in Windows where you
clicked only once, but Windows think you have double clicked. Does anyone
know a fix for this? It's really annoying when it happens =/
Thank you in advance.

Linm,

Might be a defective mouse. This happened to me last week and I replaced it.

Before you replace your mouse it could be something much more simple. Since you didn't say how Windows savy you are, please don't take offense if this sounds like something very basic that you've already checked.
Open any file and in the bar at the top click on Tools->Folder Options & under "Click Items As Follows" make sure the box next to "single click to open" is not selected.

Since you said it only happens sometimes though, I would assume that is not the problem. You may however want to try adjusting your mouse sensitivity. Start->Control Panel. Click on Mouse. Depending on the type of mouse there should be a button called Motion or something similar that allows you to change the speed & sensitivity.
