I added a stick of memory to my computer, started it up and got no video and one long continuous beep. I shut it down, removed the stick and restarted. I got the same thing. Since then i have tried multiple sticks and combination of sticks and still get the beep code error. Any suggestions?

Welcome to the forums!

Try clearing CMOS by doing these steps in this order:

1. If there is a switch on your power supply unit (PSU), then turn it off.
2. Remove the 4/8 - pin CPU connector from the motherboard.
3. Remove the 20/24 - pin connector from the motherboard.
4. Remove the battery (a quarter sized lithium battery) from the motherboard.
5. Wait approximately 20 seconds, and then reinsert the battery.
6. Reinstall the 20/24 pin connector.
7. Reinstall the 4/8 pin CPU connector.
8. Turn on the switch to the PSU (if applicable).
9. Turn on computer.

If the steps above worked, you will get a BIOS warning about date and time changes. Press the corresponding button needed to access the BIOS and then correct the date and time to the present.
