Saw this and it made me wet myself hehe, things are progressing towards a viable quantum computer.

Given that serious development has only gone on for the past 10 years, I can only begin to imagine what the next decade will bring in terms of quantum. Just as a fun little fact, a 500 bit system stores enough information to store info on every atom in the universe. Food for thought about what we can simulate with these things hehe. Their use are pretty varied I'd say tho.....despite what tom says, they could be used in ms word or spell check to speed up searches 😛. Many new algorithms are yet to be found, but given what we have now, the sky's the limit. Also as new forms of error correction (hardware and "software") are introduced- such as a fault tolerant factoring algorithm by urs truly- scaling becomes more feasbile.
What do others think about this I wonder?
