Question Open .heic images on Windows 10

The photos taken on my wife's iPhone are in .heic extension. I installed HEIF Image Extension from Microsoft App Store and it still can not open the file. And the extension not showing up from the option list after right-click.

Installed the extension from Microsoft store and there is no option for viewing after right clicking the heic image

Okay,i got it,you can try this software to open heic file on Windows computer,including images and other files.You can even convert heic images to jpg images online,just open go to heictojpg.com,but it needs to be long enough to get the job done.
