Opinions on P5K

For anyone who is running P5K (not the deluxe version) in your PC, please share your opinions on this Mobo.

I found a few reviews on the deluxe version, not the plain P5K.

I have been looking at the Asus boards, P5K, P5B, P5N32-SLI and a Gigabyte that was recommended.

I found this review taht compared all 4 that I was considering, talk about luck.

I dont have any handon experience to help you, but maybe the review will then did for me. Im going with the P5K deluxe. Probably mroe than I need, plus a little more cash, but not that much when you consider the price of the whole system.


Im going with:

Antec P180B case
SeaSonic s12-600
Crucial Ballistic Tracer 2gb DDR2 1066
Asus MB P5k Deluxe

Video Card undecided, but will hot be on the high end for now, not a gamer.

Processor: I was going to go with a E6600, then I heard about the July22 price cuts. So I will wait till then, not trying to save money, but to move up the line, maybe to a E6850, 3ghz or E6750. Have to see how things price out.

See, so many reviews on the P5K-Deluxe but it's so hard to find one for the plain P5K.

509eagle: Why not the P182? Same price as the P180 in my local store.
