Question Optical sensor on white mat

Does an optical sensor track the same on a white mouse mat in difference to a black one. Specific mouse is the g305 and zowie ec1a. And are there generaly any issuses with other mice.

Mats come in all colors and designs.

And I sometimes work directly on the desk or the table top surface.

I have not noticed any mouse tracking differences.

What problem or problems are being experienced?

Or are you concerned that the tracking performance may slow game play or work efforts?

it should be fine if it can see the reflected light. they will NOT work on see-through glass top desks, I know from experience, but as long as you have a mat, it should be alright. I use black on my glass desk.

No issues cause i have no experience with the subject. I have heard some stories that some mice cant track on white surfaces, and im looking to get a new full white mat so wanted to get some opinions before i buy it.
