Question Optiplex 3040 does not Turn On

Hi,

I have Dell Optiplex 3040. It was working fine and suddenly turned off. I've checked the power supply diagnostic and its working fine with green light. But power button on front is not working, I also tried removing the case and pressing it, but its not turning on. No lights or indication at all. Can you guys please help?

I've been through this problem before.

Sometimes, discharging does the trick.

Unplug the power from the desktop and hold down the power key for 30 sec to 1 min.

Now plug the power and try to turn it on.

Also make sure there is no dust accumulation on crucial parts like RAM, GPU, Battery, etc
