I have a windows 10 USB I bought during the 1703 era so any time I use it I have to sit through all the updates since. No big deal, I have used it several times on old systems with imbedded windows keys to wipe them clean.
I just did this again for the first time in a while, putting an ssd as a boot drive into a 2013 system and now it won't update farther than version 1703... Just says up to date and shows no option for anything else.
One unusual thing happened during installation I had never seen: It told me the ssd was mbr partition format and I needed to switch it to GPT... so I looked up how to do that and did it.
Maybe this is part of the problem?
