OverClock D930

Hey was wondering what the best setting for overclocking a D930 to 4GHZ was?

I have it running on 3.6ghz everything stock voltage fan etc......
Which is pretty could cuz my tempt is about 42 idle an 58 full load (Prime 95 test)
But tempting to bump it up a little more just to get the best out of it so I can encode videos faster.

Any input would be great
Motherboard:Asus p5wd2-e premium
4X 1gb ocz platinum 800 at 2.1v 5-5-5-15

I like to use the highest multiplier the cpu can do. So start from there.

You may want to buy an after-market heatsink though.

That's "sou ka", you missed the u 😉

As long as you stay under 65C, you're fine. Although it's meant for C2D and C2Q, read the guide here on OCing. You should be able to pick up a lot of useful info.
