Overclocking GPU, Monitor went off.

Hi there. I've been using MSI afterburner ever since I've got into PC gaming to check my temps while I game. I searched online for "Safe" GTX 1060 overclocking and I found one. It wasn't that high and the second I pressed the "Tick" button on the software I heard my GPU fans increase and around 5 seconds later my monitor goes off with the message "No signal detected" I freak out and quickly hard reset the PC through the power button. Everything is running smoothly like before. I'm not lagging nor am I crashing. Could that have damaged my GPU? If anyone could tell me what that was I'd be so grateful, thank you,
