First of all i wanna say that my CPU has been running at turbo speed since i enabled XMP.
The problem is that it runs at 3.9Ghz at 1.188v and it increases to 1.25v+ in Prime95
while others run it at 4.3~4.5Ghz at 1.2v and the voltage never increases like mine.
Everything in the BIOS is set to auto.
I get high temp (90+) while running prime95 and the voltage increases to 1.25v automatically.
I know that CPUs are not the same but i guess you may understand mine after this information.
I wanna know the voltage i should set for 4Ghz, 4.2Ghz, 4.3Ghz, 4.4Ghz, and 4.5Ghz (a lot ? )
My build:
Motherboard : Gigabyte G1.Sniper Z87
CPU : Intel Core i7-4770K (CM Hyber 212 Evo)
RAM : G.skill RipjawsX 16GB (2 X 8GB) DDR3 2133Mhz CL9 1.6v
GPU : Gigabyte GTX 780 Ti Windforce 3x OC
HDD : Western Digital 1TB Black
OS : Windows 8.1 Pro
Thanks.
