hey all..

how hard is it to overclock a pentium II-350?

I realize its a rather old cpu that I have running. I wouldn't mind testing it to see what the buzz is with overclocking.

mobo is a Gigabyte 6BA slot 1 mobo. ram is 192megs PC100 dram.

How fast can it be overclocked to?

what benchmark programs be best for something like this?

I also have a Pentium III-1G, its memory is 786meg PC-133 I think

go to bios standard HT or bus speed or clock speed is 200. Increase that untill ur pc is unstable...AKA windows wont boot or wont boot for very long without an error. Then raise the voltage to ur vcore...step up by .1 until ur system is stable repeat until ur happy with ur overclock...have fun!!!

oh i forgot whenever u up voltage u need to make sure ur cpu is getting cooled properly...it may get very hot!! Also remember ur bus speed * your multiplier is ur new processor speed. For example I have a amd 6000+ my multiplier is 15x my bus speed is 220 therefore my processor speed is 3.3ghz...always check temps when ocing...and remember have fun!!
