Hi Everyone.

I am having a little difficulty overclocking my q6600 chip further. Currently i have it overclocking to 3.04GHZ i know that this is pretty fast but I feel the need to go further.

I have a Swifttech Water Cooling setup so there really isn't any issues with heat.

I have a gigibyte GA-G33M-S2L mother board http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128085 and OCZ DDR2800 Ram

Right now im running my FSB at 343 i think and the multiplier at 9x

fsb to ram is 4:5 so its running at 830mhz.

I don't believe my board will allow me to lower the FSB to RAM any lower y lower.

My question is would i have to get faster ram to allow me to overclock higher because of the lack of settings on my motherboard?

Your board is junk. Its FSB is rted at 333, your at 343, it dont want to go more. Get a 1600FSB motherboard.

You will need lots of voltage and your board probably doesnt allow voltage changes.
