So can you guys tell why I won't be able to get a P3 700 (100 FSB) running at 933 (133 FSB) on my Abit BE6 with an ASUS slocket?
I heard that the slocket can have problems with high FSB. Are there any stats on numbers of 700s that can make 933?
Thanks for help in advance.

go to overclockers.com and check the cpu database. enter you cpu speed and it'll tell you other's oc'd results.

There is supposedly a difference with the coppermine-capable slotkets, so you might need a new one if your is old. The 700 is probably the best for overclocking. I can get mine to run stable at 1029MHz with my cover off. I have heard people who claim to own both that they have been able to get better stability from their CUSL2, but I can't say if that's true. Anyway, you should get there at 1.75v.

OK thanks to both of you, I checked the database at OC.com but I couldn't find a correlation between manufacture week, fab, S number, or the MB or HSF they were using. The average OC is about 950 so I guess I have a 50% chance :)
