Various VIA drivers don't work right with various VIA chipsets to this very day. I've had several older VIA chipset boards that wouldn't work with the newer drivers I'd tried as recently as a month ago. These types of problems are why I NEVER recommend VIA chipsets, even newer ones that are supposed to be much better, VIA has cost me too much time as a system builder.

I still have one of those boards running.

I use a small program I found off of the GEFORCEFAQ several years ago called STUFF PCR. It forces 4way interleave and agp4x on the chipset.

Another option is WPCREDIT and WPCRSET from HODA

I aint signing nothing!!!
