p4 3.0ghz HT temps

hmm was wondering what other people with this chip were getting for temperatures. my idle/low load is 38 C all i have is some articsilver3 with the stock intel heatsink.

Sounds about right - you won't have any problems with a temp like that.

I have that 3.0 Ghz CPU too...but I used the grey paste supplied with the HSF. Is that bundled paste not good?

I use a deeply flawed motherboard (MSI 875P Neo), so I don't know if even the temps are right, but in that case I get for about 43 degrees idle, and my absolute max I've ever seen is around 60.
