Is it true? I went to my local Micro Center and also Computer Builders'
Warehouse and they both said that they weren't getting anymore P4P800s.
I searched on www.pricewatch.com and I could only find one vendor who
was still selling them. This will be my first pc built from scratch. I
am thinking of getting a P4P800 Deluxe or a P4P800-E Deluxe instead.
Should I go that route? I did a lot of online research before picking
the P4P800 and now I anot sure.

I heard that directly from ASUS sales when I was researching which mobo to
buy about a month or so ago. I bought a P4P800-E Deluxe with P4/3.0C and
the system works wonderfully.

Thanks for the recommendation. I will probably end up getting the -E
Deluxe. Funny thing is, that one vendor I found that was selling the
P4P800 was selling it for more than what they were asking for the -E
Deluxe model. Don't remember the exact prices.

I bought all my components from newegg.com and was very pleased with their
service.

Thanks again. I've been building a wish list on newegg.com. I have found
the -E Deluxe for cheaper from other places but I have heard so much
good about New Egg that I think I'll settle on them.
