P4P800-E DELUXE Problems

i am not sure if this is the correct place to put this or not but here gose.

i am having a problem with my computer loading up my desktop screen. once it begins to load, i the taskbar icons and the taskbar itself will just fail to load for what seems to take anywhere between 1 and 5 minutes. durring this time i can move the mouse but cant click on anything. and then all of a sudden everything will load up. the only things that are in the startup are mcaffe firewall and antivirus and my soundcard and my mouse icon. i know its not a memory problem because i have 1 gig and i know its not a cpu problem because i have 3ghz HT. and i know its not a hard drive problem because i just installed a new one.

could this be a motherboard problem, powersuply problem or prehaps video card?!?

Is this new build? Did it EVER run faster?

Sounds like some sort of driver problem. Can you give a bit more history? You say you have a new hard drive. Did you format this drive and then put Windows on it? XP?

Some machine specs and a little more of a log would help enormously!
