hi. building a new system soon and was wondering will this RAM/memory http://www.microdirect.co.uk/(21226)Corsair-4096MB-TwinX-XMS2-6400DDR2-Memory.aspx work with the asus p5q pro motherboard. any help appreciated. thanks

Probably, you can check the motherboards list of supported memory to be sure.

thats why i'm worried lol. i checked the mobo's ram compatability in the pdf manual from asus. i found a similar one but not the same one as this one

I have them both jointed up to the mobo... and its seems its an orgy cuz they work just fine

Warning: Asustek's QVL lists *many* modules that will work 2x2 but not for 4x2. You'll care one day. Be very leery w/out a documented instance of successful 4x2 install.
