PAGE FAULT IN UNPAGED AREA after sp2

Windows started nagging me to install updates today,
turns out to be sp2 so i did so and it did a whole big
thing analyzing and what not and asks me to restart

So i restart pc and boots to the welcome screen then
crashes with this error
PAGE FAULT IN UNPAGED AREA

same when i reboot into safe mode. Help me please
urgently!
