I5 9600k cpu
Z370-a pro mb
Cm750m psu
16gb ram
Ok so after transporting my pc to another house which took approx 20 min my pc shows absolutely nothing that indicates that it works, no lights, fans or sounds.

Things i’ve tried:
Check power switch is on.
Check all cables/components are not loose.
Use another power cable.
Tried another psu but the same happend- nothing at all.
I have tried to take out psu, mb cpu and a ram stick but no luck.
Tried to jump mb but no luck.
Couldnt see any visual damage on motherboard.

Dont want to try to jump the psu due to not having a fan to check and thinking the problem mainly lies on a burnt(?) motherboard.
Any help highly appreciated, thinking of going out and buying a new mb and hopefully it works.

Did you check your power buttons on the case make sure they weren't mashed down and stuck in the down position? You basically have done all the troubleshooting needed. Have you tried plugging it in to a different outlet?
It should work, i even switched the power sw with the reset sw and tried to turn it on since i read they both can serve the same purpose.

Anyway what do you reccommend me doing? It the mb defect? And should swapping it fix the problem?

It is an msi product but I did not directly order it from msi, I ordered it from komplett which is more of a scandinavic exclusive site but can I still rma it back to msi in eu?

Ok will do that tyvm, also cant i buy a temp mb while I wait for the msi one coming in the mail and once it does I deliever the temp back to the store and tell them i didnt like the product and want refund?

What is the graphics cards? Those being a bit heavy are one of the first things that come loose/dislodged a bit or simply bend/stress the motherboard where the slot is.

Have you tried reseating RAM? Those also might need reseating after physically moving the case.

I have tried reseating ram, the gpu is a msi gtx 2070 oc and ive tried booting without gpu without success

Well in that case I would take out CPU carefully and check for bent pins in the socket.

Also check if the PCIE slot on front and back of motherboard are OK. Stretch marks or the slot being slightly askew under the weight of the card.

EDIT: Just saw your post on checking the CPU socket too. Having checked that, and trying to boot outside the case and with another (wokrking?) PSU, the board might be damaged.

No broken pins or bent slots at all, it all looks pretty much brand new

The "other" PSU that you have tested this with....where did that come from?

Unlikely as it seems, you might have issues with it, too (I have more than 3 bad PSUs in the garage, right now). What is the chance that you can take the MB into a local computer shop and have them test it on a known good PSU....just to be certain?

Its an ols psu from a friend 550 watt but yeahbit might be the case, not sure how many computer shops we have here but can chevk it out, luckily I asked customer service and if the mb is defect i can send it and get a new one

I have run into several instances when somebody tests with an old PSU, and the second PSU is bad, too. It doesn't happen often, but the few times it has happened has left we with a distrust of testing with anything but a new, tested good PSU.

Best to either test the PSUs you have, and/or test the MB on a tested and known good PSU.

Well some damages can be seen via visual inspection and also not seeing anything doesn't refute the probability of the board having been somehow damaged during the move.

This is why I included the "(working?)" when mentioning the other PSU. It is, as said above, not very likely but it happens especially if it's an old-ish unit which hasen't been tested recently and known to be in good working condition.

Also in post #1 you said "Use another power cable. ". Did you mean the cable from the AC outlet to the PSU receptacle? Not sure that PSU is modular? Just checking you didn't mean you used another ATX power cable from PSU to board by any chance?
