[SOLVED] PC boots, but no signal from GPU even though it worked on old system ?

Hi, pulling my hair out here.

Rebuilt my PC with this:

Asus ROG Strix b450 F gaming

Ryzen 5 3600

Sapphire Pulse Nitro RX580 8gb

Corsair 16gb 3000mhz RAM

Corsair VS550 PSU

240gb SSD boot drive

1tb NVME

1tb HDD

The PC boots into Windows, because I can hear the start up sound, and I can actually press Alt-F4 + enter and shut the PC down again, but there is no display at all through the RX580. The GPU lights up, and the fans spin.

Things I have tried:

Made sure monitor is definitely on display port channel.

Monitor is turned on.

Reseated GPU.

Reseated RAM.

Swapped RX580 for my old AMD card with all the same cables etc - works fine.

Run AMD cleanup utility.

Redownloaded RX580 drivers.

Still no display.

Updated bios.

Held down power button for 1 min to release static.

Moved cable to next display port on GPU.

Cried.

Deleted all AMD drivers. Still nothing.

I'm beginning to wonder if this is a PSU issue, but seeing as the GPU is lit up and the fans are spinning, surely not?

Also, I think this is relevent. The Rog strix board has a troubleshoot LED, which is showing as white for me which according to the manual is "VGA".

Short of throwing this poxy computer out the window and getting an Xbox, could I have some help from the hive mind please!

Thanks,

Jess

Solution
Since the old card works and the new doesn't, it's either power related, or gpu being faulty.
Try the GPU in another system with a better PSU if possible. If it works, change your PSU. If it doesn't, RMA the GPU.
I had a mobo with a faulty pcie slot. Can you try a different GPU in it?
Also does your MB also have onboard graphics? If it does you may need to go into setting and change to external...
