Hi everyone,

Whilst I am gaming and I press on the Windows button to go into my desktop, the system will black screen and making a buzzing sound and reboot. This has happened several times before, although not always but it is frequent. I believed it was a PSU issue so I replaced it however I still had the same issue. The CPU is new, and the same issue sometimes occurred on my old CPU. I did a system stability test on AIDA64 and left it running for an hour and it did not crash. I also did a CPU test and it did not crash. Cinebench does not crash. I'm lost for words at what component is causing the issue. Please advise, thank you.

Specs:
Motherboard: MSI B450 Tomahawk
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600x
GPU: ASUS AMD RX 6650XT
RAM: Corsair Vengeance RGB RT 32GB (2x16GB) DDR4 3600MHz C16
PSU: Corsair RM750e 750W
OS: Windows 11 Pro

What BIOS version are you on for your motherboard?

OS: Windows 11 Pro
Where did you source the installer for your OS? Did you install the OS in an offline mode, installing all relevant drivers that are the latest in an elevated command, i.e, Right click installer>Run as Administrator?

Curious, did you migrate your older OS from an older system? It seems to me like you did. Would love to be proven wrong.

It's the latest BIOS version. No, the OS is a new installation, I had installed it last month through a bootable USB. The OS ISO was taken directly from Windows.

Just had a similar problem. Turned out to be a bad memory stick. To check yours, download memtest86 and create a bootable usb drive. Boot from the usb and run the tests. I also had two memory sticks and ended up removing one at a time so I could test them individually. Although my reboots were infrequent, the bad stick failed the test immediatly. My Kingston sticks have a life time warranty so hopefully I'll get a new one but I have yet to hear back from them.
