Question PC crashing to desktop or restarting ?

Soo im met with one really weird problem, PC seems to crash to desktop or restart itself sometimes while gaming. Well noticed that few times PC crashed during gaming mostly it was really rare so I shrugged it off and it was while playing not so intense games ( R6, league of legends) then it started happening more persistent while playing more intense games like BF1 or ForzaHorizon 5(which has the most frequent crashes to desktop , looks like someone killed the task it just closes itself) check the temps everything seems fine reverted back to previous drivers still no help, windows is updated to latest version, not sure what to try anymore, thats why I came here to ask for solution if any of you guys are familiar with something like this. Thanks in advance
PC specs:
Ryzen 5 3600x
Arctic liquid freezer II 360
16gb of Corsair Vengeance Pro RBG 3200mhz ( 8gbx2)
Aorus Elite v2 B550
Palit Super Jetstream gtx 1080
gc 650w 80 plus gold.

if a system's fullscreen applications like games, etc are crashing to the desktop it can be a sign of GPU failure or driver issue.
this can also lead to shutdowns or reboots.

first thing i would try is removing all graphics related data with DDU run in Safe Mode.
then install the latest driver package directly from Nvidia.

if that doesn't solve the issue it can also be problems with corrupt OS.
installing the OS fresh, drive wipe & new install package, will solve this if it was the problem.

you can also try reseating the graphics card and it's cables to ensure all are seated properly.

Will reinstall the driver with DDU , Windows is recently freshly installed maybe like a month ago at max. I dont know ...well gpu performance is okey temps are okey, shouldnt be an faulty gpu I hope so atleast .

https://ibb.co/Vg4fbYD well it closed itself again everything seems fine you can clearly see in graphs when the game crashed-closed itself it was running without problems 140+fps on highpreset so IDK its most frequent in forza like every half an hour I guess other games really rarely

corruption can happen at any time in any software's lifespan.

but a GPU can also begin to malfunction at any time.
whether it's perfectly fine for years or perfectly fine for hours at a time between issues does not rule out that as a possibility.

troubleshooting and narrowing down the possibilities is your only option vs paying a shop to diagnose for you.
and even then they may not be able to track down a definite culprit.

Well did some research and finally got an error message after the crash and came to conclusion that RAM is faulty plus I think I had similar situation years ago...
the error message https://ibb.co/cFg9WpD had the same one in R6 after crash soo I guess ill be on a look out for new ram ...

... and while you're looking for new RAM modules, you might also consider a more powerful PSU; 650W is a bit on the low side for modern gaming.

And speaking of RAM: What clock-speed are you running the modules at? Before investing in new RAM you could try to alter the clock-speed until you reach something akin to system stability.

well psu is new bought it like few months ago its doing its job for now, ram is 3200mhz cl16 tried few times to tighten the timings it didn't work so I left it on default XMP profile which is 3200mhz CL16

Even if it's brand-new, a 650W PSU is still on the low side for modern gaming. You did say yourself that the problems occurred when you moved to more demanding games.

And the Arctic II 360 cooler only strains the PSU even further.

I really recommend that you invest in, at least, an 850W PSU.

Well yes that kind make sense but the thing that just doesnt add up is that its started happening like days ago and It was okey for like a while, one more thing tested ram in memtest, occt and testme5 0 errors idk...

what you are using the system for has nothing to do with what wattage your power supply should offer.
the actual connected components determines this and the majority of GTX 1080 Ti out there only require a 600w with a good gaming system, so the GTX 1080 would require the same or even less.

https://ibb.co/qDrszjH played a long session without crashed then it crashed to desktop right as i thought that i was somehow fixed this is memory part in afterburner when it crashed if someone can notice anything
edit: just heads up dont watch the highest usage ram at 16gb thats because i had it open when i was doing test, only thing thats kind poking the eye is commit charge idk if thats how it should be
