So I’m currently staying in a hotel, and brought along my tower to play games and such while I’m staying. It’s a budget motel which provides free WiFi, which is surprisingly good. My phone sees and will connect to said network just fine, yet my PC will only detect a “hidden network” (its the only WiFi signal around so I’m assuming that’s it). Even after entering the network name (SSID) and password as it’s detected by my phone, it outright refuses to connect to the signal. I’m unsure it’s an issue on my end, or if the hotel WiFi just refuses to let my PC connect. Any solutions/troubleshooting?

Are you using a WiFi adapter?

Try disabling Fast Startup in power options and reboot.

Also you may try to re-install your wireless adapter driver to see if this problem could be resolved. Open device manager, find your wireless adapter, right click and select uninstall. Then you'd click "Scan for Hardware Changes" in the action menu to make windows re-install the wireless driver.
