Question PC doesn't boot after SSD slot change

Hello,
I have a ASUS Z370i with 2 NVME slots.
I installed a fresh windows on my new SSD a week ago. Today I changed thermal paste and also moved my SSD to the 2nd slot with heatsinks.

Now it won't post anymore (already tried the "old" slot). It always goes back to the bios which oddly recognizes the NVME MP510.
Booting from USB works without a problem.

Does anyone of you have a idea why this could have happened?

Without a single flaw so far, it worked over half an year before upgrading the SSD last week.
I also made Shure to shut down the system completely before changing the SSDs slot.
I am just not Shure what else could be the problem...

Yes I also put the bios to defaults and tried the SSD in either of the slots.
The heatsink only goes via a non conductive pad on the sticker of the SSD.

I was just so confused to have not even my old Sata SSD working any more.
Now I just installed a new windows again...

But nevertheless thank you very much for your fast responses!
It is always great to have such a great community

Btw. Do you think it had something to do with reseating the CPU (I took it out to clean the Heatspreader property)
