Question PC doesn't fully shut down sometimes, and it auto-reboots as well ?

Hi guys,

I've recently build my first pc and am pretty happy with it overall, but i got one issue which i can't seem to fix....

Pc specs:
GPU: Asus Tuff 4080S OC
CPU: 7800X3D
Cooler: EK-Nucleas CR360 Lux RGB
Motherboard: Gigabyte B650 Aorus Elite AX (rev 1.2)
RAM: 2x16gb G.Skill Trident Z5 Neo (EXPO)
PSU: Seasonic Vertex GX 1000w
SSD: Samsung 980 Pro 1tb
Case: H6 Flow

Sometimes my pc will turn off as it should, sometimes it would shutdown but keep my CPU/Case fans and some rgb running and sometimes it would just auto reboot. I am soooooo lost and kind off tired to be honest, because i feel like i've tried everything to fix this issue.

- Tried most windows settings
- Different GPU/PSU
- Reseating ram / Cooler
- Drivers updated
- Kind of scared to tweak to much in bios but i tried some stuff
- Windows reinstall multiple times

The weird thing is as stated above, it happens so randomly and shift shutdown sometimes works but other times it either auto reboots or partially shuts down with (cpu/case and some rgb still running).

I reinstalled win11 a bout a week ago, and for a week i actually had no issues using shift shutdowns but it started again and got no clue what to do.

I really hope someone can help me or has tips for me to try, because i feel like i searched the entire internet for a fix.

What BIOS version are you on for your motherboard?

Drivers updated
Did you use any third party apps to tell you if you needed any updates or did you cross reference with the one you had installed and the one's listed on your device manufacturer's support site?

Windows reinstall multiple times

Where did you source the installer for your OS? Did you install the OS in offline mode? Installing all relevant drivers with the latest versions in an elevated command?

Hi,

first of all, thank you for trying to help me out.

Bios is currently running on FA4.

I used https://www.microsoft.com/nl-nl/software-download/windows11 to download it on a usb stick. I formatted the stick to fat32 before doing so. I just did a clean install from bios to boot to the stick.

I downloaded motherboard drivers from gigabyte website (audio/lan), chipset drivers from amd and gpu from nvidia. I don't actually know what installing latest driver versions in an elevated command mean?? I am not the smartest guy if it comes to pcs.

I don't really run any any programs besides MSI Afterburner and HWinfo64. Running a slight undervolt on my GPU (2800 at 1v). Also had it on 0.75v for a while, but i thought that it was on the edge and causing fps stutter. Maybe that's not possible but that was my guess.
