Hi All

First time Posting and having a very unusual issue that I can't figure out.

Specs:
Mobo: Gigabyte B550 Aurous ac Pro
CPU: Ryzen 5800X
GPU: MSI 4070 OC
RAM: Corsair 32GB 3600Mhz
2x Samsung NVME drives and a 120 Samsung SSD
its called via an AIO all temps avg aroung 50-65 degrees under gaming load.
PSU is a 1000w MSI 3.0 (did have a 4090 but had to sell due to being made redundant hence the bigger PSU)
OS - Windows 11 Pro

Ok so since last week I have been getting in some games random freezes where the CPU and the GPU Load goes to 0 or very usage (one time the CPU when higher) the whole thing freezes for about 1-2 seconds then carry's on as normal then it will happen again, I have recorded the frame timing plus loads and the pattern is perfect intervals now this doesn't happen on all games just a few like GTA5, Star Citizen and Msfs so far in testing. I have tried multiple things and so far no luck. hoping might get some ideas. its been running fine for about 2 years or so when I built it and been perfect.

Things I have tried:
  • Unplugged all the USBs bar mouse and keyboard (tried older ones to discount them too)
  • Checked all connections in the PC.
  • Reinstalled windows from scratch. was on 23H2 now on 24H2 builds
  • 3Dmark runs fine with no issues at all and no stutters and Mem tests come back clean too.
  • No overclocks on the CPU or GPU.
  • done no end of widows checks and before I reinstalled windows tried reinstalling games etc
  • I know I am probably missing a couple of things done too but most of those would have been before the fresh windows install which I think that would of negated anyway.
  • I have updated all drivers and also tried some older graphics drivers just in case the new one was broken.

I have attached the capture of the system behaviour.

What BIOS version are you on for your motherboard?

Reinstalled windows from scratch. was on 23H2 now on 24H2 builds
Did recreate your installer to rule out a corruption? Speaking of installers, did you install the OS in offline mode, to later install all relevant drivers in an elevated command with the latest version while disconnected from the www?
