When ever I play games my pc will freeze after a while I can still hear the game audio but my keyboard and mouse don’t work the only way for me to get it unfrozen is to restart the pc can a faulty psu cause this to happen?
Specs:
Ryzen 5 2600
Asus Prime B450M-A
RX590 Fatboy
DDR4 16gb corsair vengeance
EVGA 500w 80+ Bronze Psu

The RX 590m Fatboy runs hot and is power hungry. You need a much higher quality power supply around 650 watts and make sure you have good airflow through your case.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

Your PSU is not meant for the job, you should've gone for a 650W reliably built PSU to power the entire system.
I got the new psu and everything was working fine and then it happened again I think the old one might have damaged the gpu could the gpu because I can think what else it could be
