Question PC hangs regardless of set up ?

Hi. My Pc began freezing for no reason. I decided to replace the hard drive thinking it was that. I removed the drives, put a new one in and began a fresh install of Windows 11 via USB stick. At random times during the install, it would still freeze, at one time even when I was in the BIOS doing that trusted thing required for Windows 11.

There's no other clues as to what's causing it. My PC is 18 months old with:
CPU: i9-9900k,
GPU: Nvidia 1050 Ti
RAM: 16GB , ,
PSU: 850w

what make/model PSU?

if it freezes in bios, its unlikely to be storage.

Try running this on CPU - https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/15951/19792/intel-processor-diagnostic-tool.html?

Try running memtest86 on each of your ram sticks, one stick at a time, up to 4 passes. Only error count you want is 0, any higher could be cause of the errors. Remove/replace ram sticks with errors. Memtest is created as a bootable USB so that you don’t need windows to run it
