This might sound silly, but here it is

So I use my gaming PC for about 2-3 hours before work, and then leave it on until I come back (so around 6-8 hours). Its no fancy water cooling, just an average gaming PC. This has only come to my attention because I have noticed that it is slower than usual when turning off

Should I turn it off during that long period and then turn it back on again when I arrive home, or just continue to leave it on?

I usually use it for around 5 or so more hours after I come back from work, so just wait until then to turn it on?

I suppose it's a pref thing.
I'm in the habit of when I want to use the machine I turn in on.
When I'm finished with it I turn it off.
I won't do the off thing if I know I'm coming back shortly.
I do not see any perf diff either way.
