Question PC in-built mic and laptop mic very echoey.

Hi all,

Recently my laptop's mics have gone absolutely <Mod Edit>. In-built and external. Uninstalled/reinstalled drivers, changed audio quality on control panel to the max, Any ideas?

Echoey? If both hardware have the same problem, is it room echo maybe? Best to check is cover yourself with a thick blanket and talk into the mic under the blanket if there is no “echoey” sound its just room echo. I had a similar problem with my headset but they made a fix for it installed that and it worked ok after.

edit: do you plug the mic into the same soundcard?
