Hello,
This past april i upgraded my pc with some new parts, mainly for gaming which has been working great. No problem there with performance etc.
But i seem to have more of a software issue, where something causes the system to become unresponsive and unstable usually after windows is woken from sleep mode. I kinda like having the pc be put in sleep mode if it's not used for some time, but at this rate i will remove the option. The problem also seems to rise when the pc have been sleeping for a longer period, If it's just around 15 minutes it seems to be working normally.
Here are some of the common issues i've encountered are:
These are my specs:
- Gigabyte RTX 4070
- Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-14600KF, 3500 Mhz
- TUF GAMING B760-PLUS WIFI D4 Motherboard
- Corsair 32gb DDR4 3000Mhz Vengeance LPX
- Corsair H150 RGB CPU Cooler
- Corsair CX750 750W PSU
When i installed the pc, i reinstalled Windows 11 from usb stick, since i had a license, i also installed which was the latest BIOS version for the motherboard, which was called:
"TUF GAMING B760-PLUS WIFI D4 BIOS 1641"
What i've tried to do is updating various drivers, updating Windows , resetting energy options for windows, disabling usb disconnect setting for energy options, uninstalling and reinstalling sound software , trying to upgrade versions for usb slots etc.
Im getting kinda sick of having to turn of the pc on the button and restart in order for the problems to go away and then do the same as soon as its awaken from sleep.
Do i just try to reinstall windows? Install even newer bios settings? These are the only options i havent tried, which feels kinda like a last resort.
Any help is appreciated and i hope we can solve this.

- PC wakes and starts normally, but sound devices are not recognized anymore. Wont help to just unplug and plug in again.
- Youtube videos or streams seems to just load and buffer, even though i can browse to some extent, and also still be connected to internet.
- Windows menus and buttons seems to be unresponsive when clicked, or very slow to react when clicked.
