Question PC keeps restarting- ROG STRIX B550-F GAMING (WI-FI)

I builded my first PC last december, with the help from my friend. Alas, the system randomly lose power and restart. It happens almost everyday when I'm gaming (sim racing) and when i'm doing something not power intensive, like browse on Chrome.

I updated the BIOS, and all my drivers are updated. Read somewhere that it could be related to the PSU, but it seems I got it covered.

It's very frustrating. Anybody could help or give any advice ?

BIOS : 3405, 2023-12-13

MB : ROG STRIX B550-F GAMING WIFI II

GPU : AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT GAMING OC

PSU :CORSAIR RM850e

SAMSUNG 980 PRO SSD 1TB

CORSAIR Vengeance LPX 32GB (2 x 16GB)

Hey there,

Well, your symptoms are of a PSU issue, but yours is a good one. Doesn't mean it's not faulty though. If you had a spare to swap out, might be the fastest way to tell. ALternatively bring to a local repair store, and get them to swap out the PSU and see if the issue remains. This might cost about 10£$€ or so.

Your bios is up to date. When you updated it, did you clear CMOS? If not, do that.
