Question PC kept on crashing until I turned it over sideways

For the past 2 weeks, my PC has constantly rebooted every time it's under load. This includes games, stress tests, benchmarks and etc. I decided to turn the pc on its side and it surprisingly ran with no issues whatsoever. I tried pacing the PC upright and it crashed like it has always done. I was wondering why this is the case?

CPU: Intel i7 8700k
Cooler: Cooler Master MasterLiquid ML240L
Mobo: ASUS ROG Strix Z390-F Gaming
GPU: ASUS ROG Strix RX 580 (8GB)
RAM: Themaltake Toughram 16GB 3200Mhz
SSD: Transcend M.2 NVME MTE220S 1TB
PSU: EVGA 500W BR

Check cpu temperatures.
Air bubbles might be collecting in cpu block, when pc is in normal orientation.
This impedes liquid flow and cooling performance of AIO. Also reduces life expectancy of pump.

First thought is the pump on the AIO is failing. It is a lot easier to pump water across the radiator than UP through the radiator.

If the pump is failing, then the CPU temps would be high.

Unrelated to the problem, but why is your GPU on the bottom most PCIE slot and not at the top?

My CPU temps are around 60. I suppose thats alright.

The top PCIE slot doesn't work anymore. I think it got damaged at some point.
