PC Making a crackling noise.

Hi, so i build my pc a couple a weeks back and it was fine for some time but it started to make this low pitch crackling noise like a crrrrrrrr, its a bit lowder than my fan so it gets a bit annoying if i tap the case it stops but after like 3 secs it starts again, iv checked online to see if its my mb , psu or my hdd but I didn't get anything that matches this sound. Can anyone help please. Thanks.

If you tap and it stops and comes back, it is most likely a HDD problem.

Thats what i though it sounds like its coming from the dvd drive though.

What kind of case do you have? Make sure none of the wires are touching any of your fans.

Ty for the help guys but i have found the problem, it was my fan.
