PC not displaying

Had this computer about 8 months, and randomly the computer no longer displays. I think it boots up, as the start-up music is there, but their is absolutely NO output from the monitor. The monitor says it is on, and no other monitors work. I am believing that the graphics card has malfunctioned somehow.

The card is a Radeon 6870

Found the problem, the Graphics Card overheated, it is working again, but I am worried that it will occur again. It is still under warranty, should I seek to replace it with the warranty.

Absolutely, try to get it replaced asap. Especially if its under warranty
