Question PC not posting after installation of NVMe SSD

I plugged off 2 SATA drives(only from the drives, their cables were still connected to the mobo and psu) and installed a new PCIe Gen 4 NVMe SSD onto my pc and when i turned it on it wasnt posting.
Another thing to note is that my M.2 slot is PCIe Gen 3.

Before:
Motherboard: GIGABYTE A320M S2H V2
CPU: AMD Ryzen 3400G
GPU: AMD Radeon RX 570
SATA 0: 240 GB SATA SSD
SATA 1: 1 TB SATA HDD
PSU: AeroCool 600 or 700 Watt
After:
Motherboard: GIGABYTE A320M S2H V2
CPU: AMD Ryzen 3400G
GPU: AMD Radeon RX 570
PSU: AeroCool 600 or 700 Watt
PCIe Gen 3 M.2: Kingston NV2 1 TB PCIe Gen 4 NVMe SSD

Steps:
Remove SATA data and power cables from the just the drives (not from the PSU or Motherboard).
Connect the NVMe SSD.
Turn on the PC.
Fan lights on, no video
