[SOLVED] PC not starting after updating RAM speed

Okay so I'm currently running a Ryzen 3900X on a Strix X470-F Gaming with 32GB 3600MHz RAM.
I checked on the RAM and it was only running at 2666MHz.
So I opened my BIOS to change it to 3600MHz and the PC wouldn't boot after it.
I reset my CMOS so I could get back on with the 2666MHz speed with no clue as to why the 3600MHz wouldn't work.

Any ideas??

Solution
From the mobo web site: "DDR4 3600(O.C.)/3466(O.C.)/3400(O.C.)/3200(O.C.)/3000(O.C.)/2933(O.C.)/2800(O.C.)/2666/2400/2133 MHz Un-buffered Memory"

You'll notice everything above 2666 is considered overclocking (O.C.). Overclocking is working outside the guaranteed parameters of the mobo. It sometimes works and sometimes doesn't. Just because the DRAM is capable of reaching 3600 doesn't mean your system can reach that speed.

instead of changing it to 3600mhz, try XMP?
