[SOLVED] PC randomly restarts only while gaming.

Hi, I recently started to experience this weird issue where my PC would randomly restart without any error message. This is only happening when playing games and happens anywhere between 0-15 mins into a game.
Looking at the event viewer it seems to be a Kernel-Power error with code 41. I have tried everything suggested out there, ran memtest - passed, ran prime95 - passed, ran furmark - passed, ran OCCT - everything was fine, did an sfc /scannow, used DDU to freshly install GPU drivers, tried an older version of GPU driver but nothing worked.
I have no idea what is going wrong but I have ordered a replacement PSU as that seems to be the only option I have.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

System specs:
AMD Ryzen 9 5950X
Asus X570 E Strix Gaming
Coolermaster ML 360R ARGB
MSI GeForce RTX 3080 Gaming X Trio
Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 16*4 64GB 3200MHz
Deepcool DQ850M Gold
Samsung 970 EVO Plus 2TB NVMe

The psu is a big posibility. What replacement did you get?

The ram came in one set?

I ordered for a NZXT 850w PSU. I heard it is supposed to be better since Seasonic makes them. Hopefully, that should fix the issue.
By set do you mean together? I wouldn't know about that since I got this assembled via a third-party company. But I doubt the RAM is an issue since memtest passed for me several times.

What I find weird is the fact that it crashes only while gaming. Shouldn't stress testing put it under a lot more load than a game? Today I ran Prime95 and Furmark together for ~30mins and nothing happened.

Not necessarily.
A high, consistent load is easier on a psu than one that bounces up and down all the time.
Both Prime95 and Furmark fall under the former, and neither is very good for testing voltage stability because of that. If you want to see how good your cooling is, they can do that very well.

Prime 95 - the settings matter, you shouldn't have left that out. Ditto for OCCT.

With ram even memtest can be wrong sometimes. Can maybe see via the next,

download hwinfo,
install and open it=click run,
close the top window which is the system summary,
in the main window at the left top click "save report",
at the bottom of the next window check "Summary for Clipboard",
after that you'll see what's in the pc,
copy by clicking "copy to clipboard" and rightclick+paste in your next respons

That actually makes a lot more sense. Do you need any more info from those softwares? I can get any information that might help just please let me know

The speed is not the rated speed, so did you enable DOCP?

Not the problem i think, better wait for the new psu for that, but something to look at.

Okay let us know.

So something strange happened, I just opened my case today to do some cleaning and removed some of the cables from the PSU for the same. I put everything back and my PC has not crashed since. (still using the old PSU for now)
I have no idea what has happened but will run some more tests to see if it crashes again. Someone from the company is coming tomorrow anyway to put in the new PSU
But how does something start working just by removing and putting back the wires?

Something might have rattled loose. I had SATA cables 10-15 years ago that were notorious for this. Every 6 months I had to replug them in.
Everything in a case is vibrating.
The other option could be, they weren't correctly seated to begin with.
Somewhat related, I recently got a new cable for 1 of my 2 monitors. It wasn't seated all the way. Took a bit of time to troubleshoot since the issue wasn't THAT monitor. It was the other monitor going blank every couple seconds.
All kinds of weird stuff can happen.

I suppose that makes sense. I will be replacing the PSU in the morning as I believe Deepcool is not a very good manufacturer when it comes to PSUs and I just got a NZXT today. Will post an update tomorrow after testing.
Thank you, everyone, for your support 😊
