Hello,
Just today my new RAM arrived but after installing it my PC just keeps rapidly rebooting itself.
The new RAM I installed is exact same model as existing RAM (HX432C16FB3/16).

The reboots occur both when both RAMS are installed (in the correct slots according to manufacturer) but also with just the new one in the old one's slot.
Is the new memory just faulty or is there some obscure setting that could help? I've resetted my bios settings to default but that didn't help either.

Additional optional question: I have my memory set to automatic speed on BIOS which puts them at 2400 Mhz even though the memory is 3200 Mhz, is there any reason for this? Should I manually change it? (Motherboard supports up to 3600)

Motherboard: PRIME X399-A
CPU: Ryzen Threadripper 1920X
Ram: HX432C16FB3/16
SSD: wdc wds 470
GPU: Nvidia gtx 970
PSU: Gigabyte G750H
Chassis: RIOTORO CR1288 RGB
OS: Windows 10
BIOS: American Megatrends Inc. 1203, 09/10/2019

Thanks for reading.

For the sake of relevance, can you state the rest of your specs to your build like so:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:

As for your build, can you try and get into BIOS and see what BIOS version you're on at the time of writing?
