Question PC restarts 3 times then boots into windows after changing RAM timings

A year ago, I bought 2 used 8gb G.Skill 3600 RAM sticks from a friend and installed them alongside my existing 2x8gb Corsair 2666 sticks, everything worked fine at 3000mhz for the mismatched sticks, until the day I decided to mess with the RAM timings and after that day, my PC keeps restarting 3 times before been able to boot into windows, I think my PC is failing to do the RAM training at boot and enters into safe mode (at least that is what I been able to find)

I tried using only the Corsair RAM and only the G.Skill and it doesn't change anything.

So, is there something that I can try to be able to boot my PC normally? Thanks in advance!

My only conclusion is that I managed to damage all of the RAM sticks by changing their timings

My PC:
Asrock SteelLegend B450
Ryzen 7 3700x
2x8gb Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 2666mhz
2x8gb G.Skill Ripjaws V 3600mhz
Gigabyte RTX 3080
 
I doubt you have damaged anything.
You have several strikes against you for successful operation.
1. Ryzen is picky about ram and ram compatibility in the first place.
2. the motherboard must manage all ram at the same specs of voltage, speed and timings.
3. Ram must be matched in a single kit for operation at spec.
The used sticks may not have been from a single kit.

Clear the cmos to get back to default and erase any residual ram specs/

Start with one kit in the recommended pair of channels at default specs.
No xmp or expo settings.
If it runs, verify proper operation.

You might check to see if you have any bios updated that relate to ram compatibility.

Run memtest86+
It boots from a usb stick and does not use windows.
You can download it here:

If you can run a full pass with NO errors, your ram should be ok.

Then do the same with the other kit.

If you get a fail from either kit, consider a rma. Ram will have a lifetime warranty.

To get all 4 sticks to work together, you will have to set the settings yourself.
The key setting is the voltage.
You may need to specify a relatively high voltage, perhaps as much as 1.4v.

If all else fails, sell the old ram and buy a 2 x 16gb supported kit of a good speed like 3600

Thank you for your reply. I tried doing the tests you suggested and trying to put the original timings on my bios, but everything is still the same and the memtest didn't show any errors. Maybe I been doing something wrong...

But, if I don't disconnect my PC from the power line I can get it to boot from 0 without problems, it isn't ideal for me, but I think I will be doing that until I do a big upgrade later this year.
