Question PC restarts when starting up a game. New hardware.

Recently upgrade to a Ryzen 7 5800x3d, 4070 and new ram. Computer keeps restarting every time I launch a game. I have taken the new ram out and went back to the 3060ti I had and it’s still restarting. Last resort is trying the old cpu but wanted to post on here before I took it apart again, to see if anyone had some ideas. Thanks.

Psu: evga 650 gold
Ram: xpg 3200mhz

In the past year, I've see both of these issues cause restarts:

1. Dead CMOS battery.

2. Faulty/broken Display Port cable. The end had come apart by being tied with cable ties and moving the monitor up and down putting stress on the cable connector.
