Hi

I hope you can help

I have recently upgraded my GPU and Power supply, below are the spec and upgrades ..

i7 7820X 8 Cores 16 processors
Gigabyte X299 UD4 Pro Motherboard
32GB RAM
Cosair - VS650 Watt, upgraded to Cosair RM850x
1TB M.2 MvME
Graphics Card - Radeon rx580 8GB, upgraded to AMD RX5700xt 12 gb

The new power supply works ok and with my old GPU. When I install my new RX5700xt it sticks at the flash page where I can press F12 for bios. I am unable to open the bios nothing works to boot

There is power to the GPU as the RGB lights are on.

I have checked the cables, I have reset the CMOS and nothing works.

What else can I try to get the GPU to boot into windows?

Help!!! 🙁

Do you have the latest system BIOS installed ? The last updated BIOS version of your motherboard is F9, dated 2022/06/22.

Also, have you properly connected the PSU's PCIe power cables to the GPU (6/8-pin)?

Thank you for your reply, the cables are in place ok with a 6/8 pin using 1 split cable.

I have checked the bios and it is 2018 so I will try this update and let you know.

Thank you
