Question Pc won’t boot with new power supply

I’m a first time system builder and I made sure im making a few silly mistakes and I would really appreciate some help here

I’m installing a EVGA 650w g3 power supply to my system after realising my old power supply won’t work with a thx 1070ti I’m also installing the whole system worked fine before doing this and I have tested the psu and the fan will turn on however when installed the motherboard lights turn on ( ROG strix b250-f ) but none of the fans including the psu’s Will turn on

Are you using the cables that came with the EVGA and have you tried clearing the CMOS , then boot?

I am using the cables that came with us and I don’t know what you mean by clearing the cmos

The battery on the board , try taking it out for a minute or two , reinstall , then try the boot. Also double check all power connections.

I took it out for a while while I checked all power cables and they all seem right and I still have the same problem now I have put it back in only the motherboard lights start while nothing else does
