Hi guys,

I have recently moved houses and transported the pc in the card, was running fine until a few days ago when I tried to turn on my pc all the fans and rgb would run but no display at all and no signs of connection to my mouse and keyboard. Then I force shut it down by holding the power button and turned it back on a few minutes back on and two outcomes would occur, it would either boot into bios saying boot failure or it would say attempting to repair but never been successful and give me the options to go into advanced settings or shut down. I leave the pc alone for a few hours and turn it on again, this time it will boot into windows, but it will either freeze on the login or a few seconds after I logged in, or it would blue screen while I’m browsing / downloading / gaming. Then I will have to end up shutting down my pc again and the same problem process I mentioned above would occur again. Sometimes the pc would even power cycle which I end up forcing it to shut down and restart which leads to the no display problem above.

Here are my attempts to fixing it:
  1. Resetting my pc through windows (tried both keep files and clean reset)
  2. Unplugging everything and cleaning everything up including reseating the cpu and reapplying thermal paste then plugging everything back in and made sure there weren’t any loose connections
  3. Replaced CMOS Battery
  4. Updated GPU drivers and windows updates
  5. Tried a new graphics card (980ti to 3060)
  6. Bought a new PSU (From Thermaltake Smart BX1 550w to Cooler master V750w V2 Gold)

One interesting thing:
When I tried to run on one stick of RAM the pc would turn on and run without any issues. And tried the process below (p.s. my mother board only has 2 ram slots for dual channel rams):
  • leaving stick 1 in slot A and removing stick 2 from slot B (PC works)
  • Putting stick 1 into slot B (Pc Works)
  • Pull out stick 1 and replace stick 2 back into its original slot B (Pc Works)
  • Moving stick 2 from slot B to A (PC doesn’t run)

PC Specs:
Cpu: Ryzen 5 3600
Cpu cooler: Cooler master ML240 V2 RGB
Gpu: NEW Galax RTX 3060 (originally 980 ti)
Motherboard: GIGABYTE B550M H
Ram: Corsair Vegeancr 16gb DDR4 3200
Psu: Cooler Master v750w gold v2 (originally thermaltake smart bx1 550w)
Storage: Firecuda 520 M.2 SSD 1TB

Please help me with this issue, thank you everyone 🙏🏼🙏🏼

This motherboard?

https://download.gigabyte.com/FileL...h_e_v1.pdf?v=795edfafb382861d1aafe0a92ea5e133

Do verify that I found the applicable User Manual.

Refer to the User Manual to double check all connections and configuration settings.

Especially RAM. Use the <CTRL> + <S> keys to examine RAM per physically numbered Page 21 of the manual.

Then take a look at the memory related configuration setting using the "Tweaker" instructions beginning on Page 23.

More memory information is presented on Pages 24 and 25.

Review the manual first before really doing anything. Then start checking but make no immediate changes if something is not as expected or required.

Keep notes on what you find then, go back and make changes as warranted. Change only one thing at a time and allow time between changes.

All data is backed up - correct?
