Full PC Specs
CPU: i3 8100
Motherboard : Biostar B365MHC
Ram 4x2 (8GB): Evo Potenza 2666MHZ
GPU: Colorful iGame GTX 1050 2GB
PSU: Thermaltake Litepower 650w
Monitor : 22 inch Lenovo L22e-40

as the title says, it wont display unless my gf do those two stuffs (she always replugs the cords and reboots it whenever this happens so we dont know what makes it work ), oh and also it never work on the first try replugging and rebooting. could it be a corrupted graphics card driver? cause the last time it stopped booting normally the driver was uninstalled , the resolution went so small, all the icon went huge and the nvidia control panel was gone, and she installed it without removing any previous driver and it worked, but then whenever she turns off the pc , it wont boot up normally and have to do those stuff to get it working, and everytime it loads into windows, the resolution goes small and all the icons are huge before the screen flickers and turns normal, we're planning to do a clean reinstallation of the driver using DDU and would it be a waste of time? is the gpu dead or something? or could it be something else like the what? cmos battery??? , haven't done anything yet to the pc beside replugging it.

oh and there isn't any sign of a failing gpu (artifact, lag, etc), works perfectly fine once the pc is running.

Any suggestions would be appreciated, thanks

first try running DDU from Windows Safe Mode and choose to remove all data.
then install the latest driver package available directly from Nvidia without GeForce Experience.
you can also try just loading optimized defaults in the BIOS, clearing CMOS shouldn't offer anything related to dedicated GPU function.

but, all Colorful brand products i've ever seen are substantially cheaper than other brands.
they are based in China with no outside availability through trusted distributors, only online sales through lower-end markets.

most products similar to these are very low quality.
i wouldn't trust them or bother with them unless the deal was almost for nothing.
i really wouldn't be surprised if this card is just defective.
what sort of return/refund options do you have available?

thanks for the reply, i'll try to perform a complete reinstall of the driver and see if it's working. and sadly we do not have any options of returning since we bought it used from a guy a while ago (it was $25 lol) . it's been running for almost 3-4 months, we've been planning to upgrade to a better GPU since the GTX 1050 is outdated especially the 2gb variant, but yea, still saving up.

run System File Checker to check if there are corrupted files which might be causing this problem. To run it, follow these steps: Open Command Prompt, Run it as administrator. Select Yes to make changes on the prompt where it will ask for changes to be made to your PC,

Type this command: DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth
Then press Enter

Wait for the message that says "The operation completed successfully."

Type another command: sfc/scannow
Then press Enter
