Hello everyone I built my gaming PC yesterday.Internets too slow here so I can't download games like GTA 5 without spending at least 2 to 3 weeks. So one of my friend told me to give him my hdd and he would transfer the games and then I would activate them later.I gave my hdd to my friend but I don't know what was his problem he had to reinstall his windows and I think he had these errors (chainloader/bootmgr) but it did not work,so then he gave me his hdd and when I connected it to my computer it did not show it in the MY COMPUTER SECTION.I thought my cables were not plugged so I went to bios and it was displaying it there. In other words I can't access it and if I need to reset it then there's no need as the games will be washed.
Please do help me,Any kind of help will be greatly appreciated :)

Thanks pal for the early reply I will check it tomorrow but do you think will it work,I dont want to cause any damage to his Hdd as he has a huge game collection and I dont want to ruin it and I will let you know tomorrow 😀

It'll show you whether the OS can access the HDD and whether there's an issue with it such as the formatting on the drive. It could be an issue that the drive isn't assigned a drive letter and this should fix that specific scenario. Let me know how it goes tomorrow.

Sure mate but I don't think there will be anything to do with formatting cause if it was to be like this then none would even buy an external hdd cause every time they had to transfer data then would have to reset it

I assumed that it was an internal HDD and because your friend had the HDD and you didn't, I'm not ruling anything out. Also, by formatting I mean both the selected file system as well as any corruption that may have occurred as well.
