This motherboard?

https://download.msi.com/archive/mnu_exe/mb/MEGB550UNIFY.pdf

[Confirm that I found the applicable manual.]

When you rubbed the RAM with rubber did you reinstall the RAM correctly?

Provided that I correctly identified the applicable motherboard manual the first physically installed RAM must be install in DIMMA2

Reference Page 18 of the manual.

Will the pc boot as before?

If so reset the clocking to the original values.

First objective is a sucessful boot and the second objective is to restore stable performance - without overclocking.

[Note: Overclocking requirements can be addressed later. There may be little or nothing to be gained by overclocking.]

To be clear: DIMMA2 was installed first - correct?

If the PC will still not start then refer to the User Manual and double check that all connections are correct and fully and firmly in place.

Connectors, cards, RAM, jumpers, and case connections need to be checked.

Check all diagnostic LEDs. Do you hear any beep codes?
